Internal communication is very important to us, with regular whole-of-organisation meetings, a weekly e-newsletter and our intranet, which encourages all staff to share regular updates, news and corporate information.

To gauge how we are going and to promote feedback about our work environment, we survey our employees annually. After each survey, we develop a cultural improvement plan so we continuously improve.

Our Positive Workplace Committee aims to make the HQCC a great place to work, organising events, suggesting improvements and fostering communication across the organisation.

We have recently introduced new multi-skilled flexible workforce positions. People in these roles receive special training to enable them to work in a variety of positions - including complaint management, investigation and quality monitoring. This gives our employees a unique opportunity to develop skills and gain experience across the quality improvement spectrum.
