

The Health Quality and Complaints Commission (HQCC) is an independent body dedicated to improving the quality and safety of health services in Queensland.
The HQCC is established under the Health Quality and Complaints Commission Act 2006 ( 741 KB) which commenced on 1 July 2006. It was established by the Queensland Government in response to a major recommendation contained in the Queensland Health Systems Review (known as the Forster Report) in late 2005. TOP DOWNLOADS

Fourth round reporting of Standards compliance - The fourth round of reporting covers the period 1 April 2008 to 30 June 2008.
- The web-enabled Standards Reporting Tool (StaRT) will be available for the submission of reports between 4 August and 30 August 2008.
Items to be reported this period - Section 20 Action Plans (minimum one per Standard)
- Mandatory Data items (select 'SKIP' if unable to provide information)
- Yes/No questions about Quality Improvement Initiatives

StaRT will be available on this website, http://www.hqcc.qld.gov.au/ on Tuesday, 4 August 2008. The StaRT reporting window will be open from 4 August to 30 August 2008.
